It means that those blinds are manufactured in mass, in only a few widths, and then the ends are cut-off to make them the right size for your window.
Custom WBSFactory blinds are build, one at a time, to the specific width and height that you desire. This has a couple great benefits for you! First, you will not have to remove slats from the blind to make it short enough for your window. Second, the string ladders (the strings that support the blinds) are professionally aligned on the blind to minimize warping and lifting problems. Third, the blind will fit snuggly in your window and look just as good as your neighbor's that cost $200 more!
